When i removed my cylinders, the front oil baffle was missing , probably damages at an earlier day.

What are your opinions? Should we try to recreate it? Will the old cases survive this kinfd of heating from creating a baffle ?

Yes, if you have a good welder who is experienced with old aluminum, it should not be a problem, clean carefully and pre heat. Cleaner the better, as the porous casting will have absorbed a lot of oil in the material. Careful light welding , as the baffles really don,t add any structural strenght to the case, many people run withput them, but they are there to create a vacuum and draw oil mist up the bores.
