Last year here New Zealand  a 101 belonging to Mark Locker went walkabout. along with his 741 both where stolen from secure storage by some lowlifes.

Our local police didn't really rise to the occasion despite apparently having some good leads. Fortunately because of attention both internationally and locally they became a little too hot to move.

My understanding is that it appears they where traded a few times for very little in the "underworld" until they came to the attention of a local "bike group" who due to all the combined efforts to publicise the theft knew they were hot and also where a little "pissed" as Mark is an all round nice guy.

Apparently some deals have recently been made and Mark now has his bikes back. Whilst its sad that he had to buy back his bikes such decisions I hope none of us ever have to make ourselves.
