    Hi,

I have just received my copy of the RO manual.

First impressions are that a lot of time and effort have gone into this work and most of the credit must go to George Y and

Carl Renquist.  ( George for his overall knowledge of the machine and Carl, for his excellent engineering drawings.)

Now I have a problem. The main reason that I had for purchasing the book was so that I can rebuild the engine and gearbox with all facts and figures to hand.. However, there is no information on the gearbox, only the clutch.   The left and right hand gearing sections of the engine are also missing.

Now is the RO a work in progress , or have I got a few pages missing from the book ?

If not, then where can I find the information that I  require. ?

Was the same gearbox, transmission and timing gears used on much later Indians ? If that is the case, can anyone email me a pdf  of the sections in question please.

In the event of finding more information, I will send it on the RO editor, with a view to including it in future editions.

    Mike.
