1929 101 new to me and has model s mag. where do I find a new rotor or good used, points, brushes ect. Also this bike doesn't have the decompressor lever on the right side, so I think I need a kill switch of some kind. What do you guys use? I run a couple of model t fords and parts are readily available, so this seems strange to find no suppliers for items that really need replacement.

It should be possible to find and buy a decompression cam and lever somewhere on the many different sites on the web, but If you have later cam followers or for some other reasons you want a kill button, an elegant solution is doing as sometimes found on sports handlebars and handlebars for the Four, a second Indian horn button on the other side of the handlebar. Later bikes had another ignition switch with a position for "Ignition" But there is an internal difference between distributor and magneto switches (stamped D or M) in some years and not until somewhere 39-41 I think, there was a universal switch fitted.

Thanks for the reply, as I said this bike has a splitdorf s2 mag and the rotor  has been broken and then glued togeather. I really need a new or good used one. I thought of using a horn button for kill. Would I hook the wire to the points in the mag? Right now there is an opening on the right side where I think there may have been a terminal, but nothing is there. Looks like either broken or home made hole to the right of the points. I'm not having much luck finding good pictures of the s2. Thanks, Lloyde
