    Hi,

Just ordered the R&O manual … but

Could someone advise on removal of the clutch basket please.

I have managed to get the clutch centre off with a puller.

Now I need to get the main basket free.

Any advice welcome so I can split the engine and transmission.

    Thanks Mick

2  There is a large not  on back of clutch hub   with  a Locking tab washer ,

undo this nut  and clutch hub will slide out .

Hey Mick, back in UK for a bit this weekend on, might make Sittingbourne run. Give me a call if you need advice/hand, 01483 202547, if not should be down to see Frank Mitchell soonish, so in your area. Would be good to see Tonys 101 back on the road.

Hi Mick, did you remove the nut on the inside of the gearbox?  Sorry if you're way beyond that point and you have the nut off, but the basket should come right off!  (requires a special wrench to reach that nut, Greer's has them or you can make one if you're handy!)

Hi. Yes thanks for the info. I wondered if that nut was holding the clutch.

The old one looks like someone has tightened it with a chisel … I guess they didn't have any tools to hand!

So clutch now off! and gearbox off the engine.

I'll have to look at buying/making a tool for reassembly …

    Thanks for the help. Mick
