I am looking to change my 26 x 3 clincher tyres on my 1925 Chief to drop centre rims, can anybody tell me what the correct size should be and where to get hold of a pair.

    Hi Mark ,

I am guessing 18 inch  , altho some chiefs had a 19 front in the late twenties . if you want the Kelsey Hayes type drop centre , Randy at Walkermachine would be a good bet  , or Buchanans , the wheel place out west . Walkers more likely to know exactly what you need ,tho.

Other options may be a british type drop centre rim .
