Hy my friends!

I am currently restoring a 1928 Indian Chief. I have a battery box in original paint (maybe 1927 or older). This will be the starting point for the paint of the entire rest of the bike. I know, the other way round would be much better… The battery box was still painted with two stripes. Can anyone possibly help me out and tell me how wide the stripes have been on the rest of the bike, what color they were painted and the exact situation of the stripes? For my painter it would be ideal if he had pictures of an original painted machine.
