I am looking for a tank for a 1928 short frame Scout.  I'm not sure if this bike is a Police Special or a Scout 45.  I'm also looking for a seat.  Please let me know if you have one or any leads.

    Thanks,

    Chris

Chris, I bought a repro 28 short frame tank from Michael Brakel in Germany. The correct tank for 1927 and 1928 scouts has the hole for the decompression lever thru the tank. Earlier short frame tanks had a plate soldered on to the top of the tank, and the rod was external, and mounted thru the plate. He may also have a seat, which was a full pan messenger. Reno in the Czech republic also sells these.
