Nickle plating

    Hey guys,

Its been a wile but it looks like I will be starting back with my 31 restoration.  Can anyone recommend a good plater to nickel the heads and cylinders. Finding a plater is easy.  Finding a plater that has experience plating antique motorcycle parts is another story.  I would prefer to stay on the east coast but would be open to others options.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Mickey DuPuis in Holyoke, MA did my cylinders and heads plus a bunch of other smaller parts and they came out nice.  D&S Custom Metal Restorations, (413)533-7770.

    Good Morning!

I use International Chrome in Rhode Island. They plated nickel on cylinders for a few Indian 4's. They prep them and are Great. Might be pricey but worth it. Half down when they quote the job and the balance upon completion. They advertise in the AMCA magazine for years.

Morning Conrad. Hows the 101 coming? Thanks for the info.

This may be a good opportunity for anyone in other areas or countries to add their plating contacts to this list as well.
