Good afternoon, my 101 Scout was in boxes for 40 years before I put it all back together. In one of the boxes was a rear seat and foot pegs that my late farther did have on the bike at some stage. I am trying to find out any information regarding this seat such as who manufactured it, was it covered in leather and how was it held on?

The shape is really generic, several manufacturers had a similar shape. The closest I can find in my files is Brooks...A really cheap seat. I would guess not really comfortable on a unsprung hardtail as the 101 is and as it has so short springs, it is hard on the back of the passenger.
